01. The Alpes Vaudoises: Switzerland’s hidden cycling paradise
Nestled in the Swiss Alps close to Lake Geneva, the Alpes Vaudoises are a dream
destination for cyclists. From legendary climbs to quiet mountain roads and rolling valleys,
the region offers variety and beauty in every ride.

On the road, riders can conquer iconic passes such as the Col de la Croix and the Col du
Pillon, both regular features of the Tour de Romandie and Tour de Suisse. Alongside these
iconic ascents, adventurous riders can go off the beaten track, exploring quiet valley roads
through alpine villages, vineyards, and forests, offering breathtaking panoramas without
heavy traffic.
Gravel enthusiasts will discover a different world: forest trails above Villars, panoramic
