Villars Golf Club: The green is just ten minutes from your room
At an altitude of 1,660 meters, on a south-facing plateau overlooking Les Diablerets, the Grand Muveran, and Mont Blanc, the Villars Golf Club has, since 1922, offered a course that blends seamlessly into the landscape as if it had always been a part of it. The only 18-hole course in the Vaud Alps, this 5,288-meter course winds its way through alpine terrain and breathtaking panoramas, offering players of all skill levels a true technical challenge. The elevation changes are steep, the air is crisp, and each hole offers a different setting: here, the mountains are part of the game.
From the Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa, getting to the first tee is practically a formality. The Roches-Grises stop is right outside the hotel: you board the small Villars–Bretaye rack-and-pinion train, which drops you off a few minutes later at the Villars-sur-Ollon Golf stop, right on the edge of the course. And the ride alone is worth the trip: the track climbs up the mountainside, the larch trees part, and the view transports you to another world. The sense of wonder continues upon arrival; the Club House welcomes you with its restaurant, pro shop, equipment rental, and large panoramic terrace. Everything is right at your fingertips.
The Offer Golf by RoyAlp makes the experience even more seamless: one night in an Executive Room with a park view, breakfast for two included, a dining credit at Le Rochegrise, access to the Spa by RoyAlp, a green fee at the Villars Golf Club (golf cart included), free outdoor parking, and late check-out subject to availability. Mornings on the greens, afternoons at the spa, evenings at the table: the perfect day of golf awaits you.
