Villars-sur-Ollon is a great starting point for exploring French-speaking Switzerland. The Bex Salt Mines are 20 minutes away, and the Château d'Aigle is 25 minutes away. Montreux and Chillon Castle are 40 minutes away, Lausanne and Glacier 3000 are 45 minutes away, and Gruyères and Maison Cailler are one hour away. The Welcome Card, available upon request at check-in, offers a 20% discount on several of these excursions.

The Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa is located in Villars-sur-Ollon, a 1.5-hour drive from Geneva Airport and 45 minutes from Lausanne. By car, take the A9 highway to Bex or Aigle, then follow the mountain road. By train, travel to Bex or Aigle, then take the Bex–Villars–Bretaye rack-railway—which has a stop right at the foot of the hotel—or the Aigle–Villars-sur-Ollon Gare bus, which connects to the rack-railway at the Villars-sur-Ollon train station. The hotel can also arrange private transfers from Geneva for you upon request.

The Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa is a 5-star hotel in Villars-sur-Ollon, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and awarded a Michelin Key. Opened in 2008, it comprises four traditional chalets and features 62 rooms and suites, as well as 27 residences.

The Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa offers concierge service, the Spa by RoyAlp, four restaurants and a bar, a Kids’ Club, a private movie theater, six conference rooms, room service, a ski room, a bike storage room, a cigar lounge, and valet parking.

The Kid’s Club at Chalet RoyAlp & Spa is open Wednesday through Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for children ages 4 to 12.

The Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa offers a wide range of on-site activities. The Spa by RoyAlp features an indoor pool and fireplace, a sauna, a steam room, a hot tub, and a sun deck, as well as a 24-hour fitness center and yoga and Pilates classes. The hotel also has a private movie theater, several game rooms, an outdoor playground, a cigar lounge, and three restaurants and a bar.

The rate for one night at the Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa includes breakfast, access to the Spa by RoyAlp and the fitness center, the Kids' Club, access to the private movie theater (by reservation), Wi-Fi, and the resort's Welcome Card.

The visitor's tax is CHF 3.80 per night per adult and CHF 1.90 per night per child (ages 6 to 15).

The Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa offers a free shuttle service to and from the village of Villars-sur-Ollon.

Check-in at the Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa begins at 3:00 p.m., and check-out is by 12:00 p.m. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, and luggage storage is available both before check-in and after check-out. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible depending on availability, for an additional fee.

The Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa is located just a few minutes' walk from the center of Villars-sur-Ollon, in the Vaud Alps, where you'll find shops, restaurants, cafés, a pharmacy, and ski rental shops. The drive takes two minutes.

A stop on the Bex–Villars–Bretaye (BVB) rack-railway line is located at the foot of the hotel: it serves the village center, the Villars-sur-Ollon train station, and, further up the mountain, the ski area all the way to Bretaye (1,806 m). The hotel’s free shuttle also provides this service; please contact the concierge desk to arrange a ride.

The Chalet RoyAlp Hotel & Spa offers outdoor and underground parking on site, as well as charging stations for electric vehicles.

For hotel guests:

Parking is freefor guests dining at one of the restaurants or booking a treatment at the Spa by RoyAlp.

Valet parking is available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Breakfast is included. It is served at Le Rochegrise restaurant or in your room for an additional fee.
